Introduction to Money Management is designed to meet the needs of people who want to experience financial freedom. This seminar will be beneficial to those who want to learn to budget their money, to avoid financial scares and to get out of debt. Students will be track their expenses to create a realistic budget that can help them to reduce debt and increase savings. With the instructor’s support, they will begin the process of reaching a SMART financial goal that will be decided during class time. Usable tips will be provided in each session to push students closer to financial freedom. Teaching methods will include group discussions, group and individual activities, and learning games. An understanding of basic financial terms is helpful but not required. Materials will be provided by the instructor.

Instructor: Bethany Eggman
About the Instructor: Bethany has 15 years or experience in educating children and adults. She holds a BA in Liberal Studies, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and two Masters of Education in the field of Adult Education. Using what she's learned during her ten years of working in the credit union industry, she is fast on her way to financial freedom!
